Taekwon-Do Alliance Ireland (TAI) is made up of independent groups of ITF schools working together to increase the profile of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) under President Choi Jung Hwa. Membership is open to all who wish to continue the legacy of the founding father of ITF Taekwon-Do General Choi Hong Hi, in Ireland, under the leadership of his son ITF President Choi Jung Hwa. Mission Statement Taekwon-Do Alliance Ireland (TAI) is an organisation focused on social development; aiming to promote a lifelong enjoyment of martial arts, while emphasising a positive belief system and instilling the core values of the five tenets of Taekwon-Do: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. Our Vision Our goal is to position Taekwon-Do Alliance Ireland (TAI) as the gold standard for ITF Taekwon-Do and Martial arts training in Ireland. The guidelines for Taekwon-Do Alliance Ireland (TAI) cover each and every aspect of our organisation, in ensuring a successful future for our instructors, students and their families. Strategy Taekwon-Do Alliance Ireland (TAI) looks to identify and invest in long term training strategies and partnerships with likeminded instructors throughout Ireland. Taekwon- Do Alliance Ireland (TAI) wishes to expand the talent pool and individual skills sets from different Taekwon-Do groups. Taekwon-Do Alliance Ireland (TAI) actively provides support for all to work alongside each other and enhance best practices; identify and explore growth opportunities in the infrastructure; and continually work to up-skill Instructors and students.
